We hesitated to include information about our online shop in our new space clearing books because there are always people who assume we have an underlying agenda to make sales. In fact, the revenue from space clearing products yields very little profit.

The amount of work and expense involved in purchasing the raw materials in Bali, overseeing the production, quality-checking the products, paying our staff a decent living wage and bonuses for work well done, arranging shipments from Bali, storing and insuring the items, packing and shipping orders around the world, handling the accounting, and taking care of all the enquiries and requests for advice means that it really is not a viable commercial business.

We continue to offer the service in order to make equipment available to those who wish to do space clearing so that they can get the best possible results, as well as helping to keep the traditional skills of Balinese craftspeople alive. For us, it’s essentially a labour of love rather than a money-making venture. We put a lot of care into it.
