Personal Belling online course

Learn how to instantly uplift and centre yourself with personal belling.
Personal belling

Personal belling is a technique I evolved in the 1990s when teaching space clearing workshops around the world. I used it to demonstrate the extraordinary qualities of Balinese bells.

Here’s what Richard and I wrote about this in Space Clearing, Volume 1:

What’s unique about Balinese bells is that they highlight stuck energies and can be used to clear them. When doing space clearing, you can literally hear the sound of the bell momentarily fade as you walk past a stagnant area in a room and then hear it return to full volume one pace further on. No other bells we’ve ever found do that.

In our space clearing workshops, we usually demonstrate this effect on four or five volunteers from the audience. They come to the front of the room and sit on chairs in a row, facing the audience. Then one of us does a technique called personal belling, which involves ringing a Balinese bell close to the front of each person’s body, from the root charge area to above the head, gearing the sound into their central channel (the energy channel that runs up the centre of the body).

Even people who have no experience of working with energy can immediately hear how the sound of the bell changes as it passes over areas where there is stuck energy. By the time we have done this with the second or third person, there are gasps of amazement from the audience as they realize how different each person sounds.

We have now developed three specific uses of personal belling:

  • It can be used to centre and uplift yourself if you feel stuck, upset, scattered, or confused
  • When clutter clearing, you can use personal belling to reset your energy if you start to feel bogged down or overwhelmed
  • When space clearing, personal belling is part of the method used to create space clearing water for an Essential Space Clearing or a Full Space Clearing ceremony
